How to Install a WordPress Plugin Manually

If you need to install a WordPress plugin manually, follow these steps:

1. Download the Plugin

• Go to WordPress Plugin Repository or the developer’s website.
• Click Download to get the .zip file of the plugin.

2. Log in to WordPress Admin Panel

• Go to yourdomain.com/wp-admin.
• Enter your credentials to access the dashboard.


3. Upload the Plugin

Navigate to Plugins > Add New in the WordPress dashboard.

• Click Upload Plugin at the top.
• Click Choose File, select the downloaded .zip file, and click Install Now.

4. Activate the Plugin

• Once installed, click Activate to enable the plugin.

5. Configure the Plugin (If Needed)

• After activation, go to Settings or the plugin’s menu to configure its options.
This method is useful when the plugin isn’t available in the WordPress Plugin Directory or if you’re using a custom plugin.
